The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of The Executive Council shared the achievement of Dubai on social media, saying the win was a symbol of the city’s determination and leadership.
Sheikh Hamdan said: “Dubai has once again secured the top spot as the No.1 global destination in the 2024 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, making it the first city to achieve this recognition for three consecutive years in a row.”
“Dubai’s accomplishments in the tourism sector, once thought to be an unattainable dream, is now a tangible reality thanks to the visionary leadership of @HHShkMohd.”
“ Last year, @HHShkMohd articulated ambitious objectives for Dubai's tourism sector as part of the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33. The aim is to bring Dubai to the status of one of the top three global economic cities and premier tourist destinations.”
After Dubai the following cities in the rankings are Bali and London, with Europe and Asia dominating themselves in the top 10 tourism destinations.
